  Total about 10 Million deaths and 20 Million severely disabled.
  Deaths: 1.8 million Germans, 1.7 million Russians, 1.4 million French, 
  1.2 million Austrians and Hungarians, 900,000 British, 460,000 Italians, 
  325,000 Turks, 115,000 Americans.
  The Great Spanish Flu pandemic; about 500,000 in USA 
  400,000 died in France including Guillaume Apollinaire aged 38, shortly after 
  publishing Calligrammes
