 1930's  Modeled for sentimental postcards; earlier she had been a hypnotist's 
     stooge in a circus and a small-time actress and model in Paris when she met 
     Paul Eluard and Rene Char.

    She collaborated in a number of group activities such as the game of Cadavre Exquis.

 1934 and 1936 She produced a series of photomontages.

 1935 Paul Eluard publishes Facile -> a book of Poems with photos 
    of her by Man Ray.

    Paul Eluard, Roland Penrose, Lee Miller, Man Ray, Ady Fidelin,

 1937 Short affairs with Joseph Bard and Pablo Picasso.

 1941 June, party at apartment of Robert Desnos and Youki with Georges Hugnet  
    Paul Eluard and Sonia Mosse.

 1946 died in Paris unexpectedly from a stroke.

    She was the subject of Paul Eluard'€™s Facile collection of poems which 
    were illustrated by Man Ray€'s nude photographs of her, and of a number of 
    Pablo Picasso's cubist portraits and sketches. 
    She was a Model / Muse for Lee Miller, Dora Maar, Pablo Picasso, 
    Man Ray, Rene Magritte and Joan Miro and Brassai.
    During World War II she and Eluard were active members of the French Resistance. 
    Nusch did not only inspire some of E‰luard's most tender love poems.
    Her collages were published in 1978 by Editions Nadada, New York.
