 1934 Signed  the Manifesto of 10 Fevrier Appel a la Lutte.

 1935 July Cadavre Exquis in Barcelona with Oscar Dominguez, 
   Remedios Varo and Esteban Frances.

 1936 Exhibited at the London International Surrealist Exhibition.

 1937 Ubu enchaine with Sylvain Itkine and Roger Blin.
   Cadavre Exquis with Jean Arp, Sophie Taeuber, Oscar Dominguez.
 1938 January; exhibits in Exposition Internationale du Surrealisme at the 
   Galerie Beaux-Arts, Paris; organizers Andre Breton, Marcel Duchamp 
   assisted by Paul Eluard.
   One of the artists who featured in the Man Ray film Resurrection des Mannequins.

 1940 Stranded in Budapest when war broke out.

 1947 Provides original artwork for the catalogue of Le Surrealisme en 1947 
    or Please Touch at Galerie Maeght, Paris. 

 1948 Exhibition Paris. (Catalogue) ->.

 1951 Expelled from the Surrealist Group.

 1953 Saw his old friend Yves Tanguy with his wife Kay Sage when they visited Paris.
