   French Composer and Musician, 
   One of the regulars at Adrienne Monnier's bookshop.
 1920 Meets Tristan Tzara.
    First Performance of Les six; Georges Auric, Darius Milhaud, Francis Poulenc, 
    Arthur Honegger, Germaine Tailleferre (the only woman member), and Louis Durey.
    Poulenc composed music for songs  with verses by Guillaume Apollinaire, 
    Paul Eluard, Robert Desnos, and Louis Aragon.

 1922 played at the opening night of Le Boeuf sur le Toit, Jean Cocteau's nightclub.

 1940 Hiding on the Estate of Comtesse Lily Pastre in Marseille together with Darius Milhaud, 
    Andre Masson and family, Pablo Casals and Josephine Baker.

 1953 Letter from Dominique Eluard.

 1963 d. January 30th. Paris.
