1920's Corresponded with Giorgio de Chirico and won the admiration of Fernand Leger, Max Ernst, Theo van Doesburg and Wassily Kandinsky ->; most of whom were introduced to him by Rosenberg in Paris during the late 1920's. 1921 Inherited a considerable sum on the death of his father. 1923 Travelled to Italy. 1929 Wings of the Morning.
1930's Painted in Normandy with his friend Tristram Hillier. 1933 Joined Paul Nash's Unit One Group. 1936 Assisted by Charles Howard on a mural for the De La Warr Pavilion at Bexhill. 1937 The Beached Margin.
