 1872 b. Feb 25th b. Geneva.
    Swiss painter and multimedia artist. 

 1890 Studied under Hugues Bovy and Denise Sarkissof at the Ecole d'Art in Geneva. 
    A travel scholarship enabled her to study in Munich for a year. 

 1904 Moved to Paris, where she associated with Albert Gleizes ->, 
    Jean Metzinger ->,    Fernand Leger, 
    Marie Laurencin and Sonia Lewitska ->, Juan Gris?, and Francis Picabia.

 1905 - 1926 She exhibited regularly at the Salon d'Automne.

 1909 Exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants, the Salon d’Automne, and the Kunstausstellung (“art exhibition”) in Munich. 

 1910 She became interested in Cubism and Futurism. 

 1913 Equestrian Fantasy with Pink Lady ->   

 1914 Returned to Switzerlland.
    Wool Paintings. She executed over 50 tableaux-laine, in which she used coloured 
    strands of wool as a painter would apply brushstrokes.

 1917 Mixed-media works, combining oil paint with coloured papers, bronze foil, 
    glass beads, felt and applique, as in the Self Portrait ->

 1919 Published an ideogram-drawing in Francis Picabia's magazine 391

 1920 Man with the Golden Heart (Portrait of Werner Reinhart ->). 

 1918 She became involved with the Dada circle in Zurich. 

 1923 Settled in Lausanne.

 1936 Her last major project was the mural in situ across three walls for the foyer of 
    the Theatre Municipal, Lausanne.  

 1938 d. January 1st. Lausanne.
